Unlike the Mullet, which lets you choose between standard and pro risers, the MulletX comes with a single riser option.
If you are used to how the original Mullet behaves in light wind, coastal ridge soaring, it is worth knowing that the MulletX performs better if you go up one or two sizes.

Even in natural, coastal laminar airflow, we have been unable to induce a collapse no matter how forcefully we attempt it. This resilience speaks volumes about the profile's inherent safety and collapse resistance, giving pilots the peace of mind to explore the full potential of their glider with complete trust.
3D cut optimization and advanced sail tensioning
The MulletX is built to be a highly robust glider, with its internal geometry meticulously engineered to provide optimal structural support without adding unnecessary weight. Every panel and diagonal have been precisely calibrated and analyzed using advanced computer modeling to strike the perfect balance between chord and span-wise sail tension. This level of precision minimizes spanwise distortion, resulting in a canopy that feels consistently taut and responsive.
In selecting materials, we carefully studied all options available and chose the taut, long-lasting Porcher Skytex 38 for its exceptional durability and performance. This material was chosen for its ability to maintain tension and shape over time, ensuring a canopy that stays responsive flight after flight.
The sail's flex characteristics have been finely tuned to offer exceptional feedback, essential for pilots to accurately sense the air around them. A well-tensioned sail is crucial for providing the precise, immediate feedback needed to interpret subtle changes in lift and sink — particularly when flying in dynamic or turbulent conditions. This heightened sensitivity allows pilots to feel the air, making it easier to respond to fluctuations in lift and navigate through challenging conditions with confidence and control.

The MulletX lines are made from a carefully selected combination of low-drag materials, offering the best balance of strength-to-diameter ratio in the industry. We utilize both sheathed and unsheathed lines to ensure maximum performance and durability.
When selecting the right lines for the MulletX, our primary focus was minimizing the risk of knotting prior to inflation. This attention to detail ensures that every flight begins smoothly, with the lines performing flawlessly and without compromise.
